ITEC Certificate in Stone Therapy Massage

In order to take the ITEC Level 3 Certificate in Stone Therapy Massage candidates must hold the pre-requisite of the ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Massage, Anatomy & physiology and Professional Conduct & Business Awareness.

The main aim of the ITEC Level 3 Certificate in Stone Therapy Massage is to enable candidates to provide safe treatments for the purposes of relaxation and stress release.

The candidate will study the theory of Stone Therapy Massage treatments. The underpinning knowledge and skills required to successfully perform a Stone Massage treatment are also required.

Evidence of treatments are also required to be completed for this award. Detailed rationales for the type of Stone Therapy Massage treatment and outcomes must be shown, as well as aftercare. Candidates are required to undertake Stone therapy case study (3 clients x 3 sessions each).

This award qualifies graduates to operate their own clinic or home visiting practice. Graduates can also gain employment in Salons, Health Club, Health Farms, Spas and Liners.

Minimum of 4 students required for course commencement.

Diploma in Stone Therapy consists of Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology, Professional conduct & Business Awareness,  Holistic Massage (Theory & Practical) &  Stone Therapy (Theory & Practical). Student can take Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology, Professional conduct & business awareness, Holistic Massage (Theory & Practical) and Stone Therapy (Theory &  Practical) course simultaneously.
